Deliveries Via Independent Freight Carrier
Items purchased at Negotiated Rates.
Larger items such as Clinical Care Recliners and Case Goods will arrive via Independent Freight Carrier.
Please keep in mind the Freight Carrier is responsible for "Tailgate Delivery" only. This means it is the customer's responsibility to remove the merchandise from the truck and take it inside. If you do not have the facilities or personnel to off-load the merchandise from the truck, choosing Liftgate Service is highly recommended. Contact Customer Service at 1-800-348-9006.
FOR YOUR PROTECTION READ CAREFULLY KindCare Medical Seating "is not" responsible for freight damage. Merchandise is inspected prior to packing. All claims for damages must be made by you against the carrier. The carrier accepted this merchandise “in good condition” and is responsible for safe delivery. Before signing the freight bill, inspect the shipment carefully for damage or missing pieces.
APPARENT LOSS OR DAMAGE Should visual inspection show loss or damage, this MUST be noted on the freight bill and signed by the carrier’s agent. Failure to do so may result in the carrier refusing to honor the claim. Please contact the carrier to obtain the paperwork necessary to file a claim.
CONCEALED LOSS OR DAMAGE If damage is discovered after delivery is made, a concealed damage claim must be entered with the freight carrier. When this occurs, make a written request to the carrier for inspection. A request for inspection must be made within 15 days of delivery. The carrier will provide the necessary paperwork for filing a concealed damage or loss claim, as such damage or loss is the carrier’s responsibility.
